WACCA: One is printed in bright fluorescent pink. This version was born at the request of the manufacturer, Ieda paper-craft Inc. Hiroko Takahashi sees fluorescent pink as a color that uniquely reflects the modern age and incorporates it in her work. At first the colour was not considered for this collection but the makers of the fan wanted to create one in this color. The use of a color often avoided in the world of traditional craft was a welcome challenge that resulted in this poignant item, bringing a new twist to tradition.
