AIZUMOMEN MASK
WHITE MASK PROJECT was started by using the white fabric from the dead stock that could not be used for kimono or yukata.
Aizumomen is a type of cotton from the Aizu region (Fukushima prefecture) where at the end of the Meiji period experienced a golden age in the cotton production. The fabric is robust which gives its thick and plump feel, and the plain woven cotton offers high resistance to shrinkage.
