・The front side features a beautiful repeated pattern that appears in viewing the obi at different angles
・The reverse side features a weave of one colour in two shades
・An obi with a highly contrasting colour on the front and back that is the accumulation of craft in Hakata-ori
・Has extra length allowing for the obi to be tied in a variety of ways
